Unfortunately we do not have any information to validate this list entry. Attempts were made to obtain the time slip and information on the combo in 2007 (when the time was claimed to have been run), 2010, 2013, & 2014. Reaching out to the car owner in 2010, the following response we received:
“To me, that 6.77 was important as it held the record for over a year but, I do not consider that anywhere near my cars capabilities so , in the long run, it means little to me. Still, it is factual.”
Reaching out again in 2013 we received the following response: “I do not understand WHY you want me to participate now”
The only combo info we have is that the car is a FED, ran a stock block , Super Chief Heads, Supercharged on Nitro methane. The car is owned by Steve Barcak and was driven by Ron Maroney.
The rules committee has decided to remove this entry from the Elite 10 List at our September 30th Cut-off / annual list freeze for 2014 since this entry has not complied with ANY of the list rules.
